Accommodation
14 Channel View is a lovely 1920’s Town House set on
three floors facing out to the Atlantic Ocean. It is situated on
a elevated position looking over Porthmeor beach.
The house sleeps up to eight people in four bedrooms. There are
wonderful, far reaching sea views from the living room and the two
front bedrooms which makes the house ideal for two couples as well as
two families or a group. The house is furnished and decorated in a
contemporary style and is equipped to a high standard.

Sky WiFi is provided free of charge.
All bed linen & all towels are provided apart from linen for the cot,
All beds are made up ready to go when you arrive. Sorry, no pets.
Accommodation
Living Room
The large living room has 2 sofas (one out of picture) plus 2 Ikea
loungers so can comfortably seat eight people. To the front is a
bay window with wonderful beach and coastal views. The views are
much better then the photo shows! There is a Panasonic LCD TV
with Freeview and a Hard Disk recorder.
Dining Area
At the rear of the living room is a table with 4 chairs, ideal as a study
area, playing games or using your laptop on the internet. A large
bookcase with a good selection of adult & children’s books, DVD’s
and family games and also a Sony Micro Hi Fi & Radio System.
Kitchen
The large, luxury kitchen diner has solid oak kitchen units
with black granite worktops. There is a large pine farmhouse table
with eight solid pine chairs, a Dual Fuel Range Cooker, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, microwave and TV.
The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of space for those
who enjoy cooking. There is also a high chair ready for use.
The double doors lead out onto the rear patio.
Separate Utility Room Adjoining Kitchen
Equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, large sink.

never stayed anywhere as well stocked as this place.”
Patio
The rear patio is a private, sunny, paved area. Complete with a large
dining bench it is the ideal spot for enjoying a sunny evening. A tall
shed for storing surf and body boards, wind shields etc. There is also
a showering off facility at the back of the house and a washing line.
“I looked forward to pulling the curtains back every morning
to watch the wonderful waves rolling in and watching the
surfer’s catch the waves.”
First Floor
Front bedroom
This is a lovely, good sized sunny bedroom with fabulous views.
There are two chairs to relax in and look out over the beautiful
Atlantic Ocean. The views are better than the photo shows!
In this room you will find a comfortable kingsize pocket sprung bed,
double wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers and bedside
cabinets.
There is plenty of room for a travel cot in this bedroom. We have one
in the house with a mattress, you just need to bring along bed linen.
Second Bedroom
This is another lovely, good sized bedroom with twin, pocket sprung
full size beds. This room also has a double wardrobe, chest of drawers
and bedside cabinets.
First Bathroom
This well appointed bathroom has a bath with Grohe power shower
over, washbasin, toilet and towel radiator.
Second Bathroom
The shower room has a large 900 x 900 shower cubicle with an
electric Mira shower. There is also a washbasin,toilet and another
towel radiator.
Staircase leading to second floor
Third Bedroom
The third double bedroom has absolutely beautiful views over
Porthmeor Beach, on to The Island and Clodgy Point. This room offers
a very comfortable 5’ kingsize pocket sprung bed, wardrobe, bedside
cabinets and a chest of drawers. The views are much better than the
photos! A travel cot will fit in here.
Fourth Bedroom
This bedroom looks out over the back of St Ives.
It’s a lovely, sunny room which sleeps two on full size pine
up and under bunk beds with pocket sprung mattresses.
Outside
To the front of the property is a patio area with views to the Island,
Clodgy Point & across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. This is
a great place to sit out and enjoy a drink especially in the evening.
We have some wonderful sunsets here.
There is a private driveway with parking for 2 cars directly
across the road (a rarity in St Ives!) from No 14. See photo.
A travel cot (no linen included) and high chair are provided FOC
for those with little ones. Unfortunately we cannot cater for pets as
we have guests who have allergies.

We have had the house as a holiday let since 2007, the original
intention was to use it ourselves for holidays but it was so successful
and we got to love the area so much we decided to move down lock,
stock and barrel which we did in 2010 by buying another house in a
nearby village. It’s something we’ve never regretted!
